Pipe break turns into a different category of water due to it sitting

Customer had a pipe break in their play room in the basement and did not notice it for about 6 days. They contacted SERVPRO and told them the information on the loss in their basement. They were very upset and wanting this taken care of as soon as possible. SERVPRO arrived onsite to assess what had happened. The crew was then called in to start the work that needed to be done. Due to the time the water sat, the crew unfortunately had to remove the carpet and the drywall. The customer was very pleased that the crew worked a timely manner and dried out the area so that they could get it all redone for their children to be able to play in there again.
