Winter Storm Update for Amherst/Clarence

Winter is far from over here in the Amherst/Clarence area. The weather may have warmed up for a few days, but now we’re looking at another incoming winter storm. The National Weather Service issued a winter storm warning for the area from 10pm this evening (2/26) to 1pm Thursday (2/27). Heavy snow is expected with a total accumulation of 5 to 9 inches and heavy winds from 45 to 50mph will blow throughout the night. Snowfall is also expected most of the weekend with temperatures in the mid-twenties. Try to stay indoors during the storm. Use caution when driving and using sidewalks.
